Our quality commitment

Our quality commitment

What we check before a garment reaches the store, and what we do when something isn't right.

Selection · Materials · Inspection · Guarantee

Quality isn't a promise you write on a page. It's a process, and here's ours, step by step.

How we choose our partners

Before working with any workshop or supplier, we request physical samples. We don't buy from a catalog or a photograph.

We assess consistency between units, seam finishing, the quality of hardware and closures, and how the fabric behaves after repeated washing. We also verify that the supplier can hold the same standard across repeat production, because a good sample means nothing if the second batch arrives different.

The checks we run

Washing

We wash every sample several times following its own care instructions, checking for shrinkage, color loss, distortion and pilling.

Seams and structure

We check finishing, stitch density, reinforcement at stress points and pattern alignment. A loose seam in testing is an automatic rejection.

Real fit

We try garments on different bodies and measure each size by hand, so we can publish real measurements rather than a generic size chart.

Hardware and details

Zippers, buttons, snaps and buckles get tested with repeated use. If anything sticks or discolors, the piece doesn't make the catalog.

Materials

We prioritize fabrics that feel good and behave well over time. Sometimes that means natural fibers and sometimes it means well-built technical blends, because not every natural fiber is automatically better.

Each product page lists the exact material composition and care instructions. If a garment needs hand washing or dry cleaning, we say so before you buy, not after.

Inspection before shipping

Every order is checked before it goes out. We verify that the garment matches the model and size ordered, that there are no loose threads, marks or visible defects, and that the packaging will protect it in transit.

It's a step that takes time and that plenty of stores skip. We'd rather delay a shipment by a day than send something we didn't look at.

Sizing and fit

Sizing is the single most common cause of a return, so we give it extra attention.

  • We publish measurements in inches and centimeters for every available size: bust, waist, hip and length as applicable.
  • We note whether a garment runs fitted, relaxed or true to size.
  • We include the model's measurements and the size she's wearing in the photos.

If you're unsure before ordering, email us your measurements and we'll tell you honestly which size to take — even when the honest answer is that this piece isn't right for you.

Our guarantee

If the fault is ours, the cost is ours

If you receive a garment with a manufacturing defect, a sizing error on our part, or a product different from what you ordered, we fix it with a replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping cost. You don't have to negotiate it.

To report it, email support@camilachic.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We respond within one business day.

This guarantee is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable law, and does not replace or limit them.

What it doesn't cover

To be clear in both directions, the defect guarantee doesn't apply to normal wear from use, damage caused by washing contrary to the care label, alterations or repairs made by third parties, or accidental damage after delivery.

You can still write to us in those cases. There's often a solution, even when it doesn't technically fall under the guarantee.

Something not as expected?
